My eyes light up, they're glowing.

The brightest core within my bones is finally showing.

May the skin bust open, may the veins rupture free.

May the soul drenched beneath the surface come forth and leak.

Staring into you, I perceive the essence of myself.

Two eyes, the windows to the soul, I see it all.

Gazing at you, I find the radiant scheme of the universe coming to a start.

When I inhale your presence, catch that full-blown gasp of air, inflating my heart,

That's when I feel human, tortured as Macbeth.

Laying eyes on you, I feel pure, untouched… the whiff of a baby's first breath.

Double, double, toil and trouble,

Find me here suffocating under these shards of dark rubble.

May each bad moment fade, may these regrets be none.

May I perish, for in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Staring into you, I catch a glimpse of the planet.

Your eyes attest all; I swear I can see it.

Gazing at you, I feel the time on earth standing at a halt, it never ends.

While I remain emotionless, awaiting your thrust out of this dreadful decadence.

That's when I'm bare, exposed as a naked neck.

Losing all trust in you, the time won't come… even at the hum of man's last breath.
